TRAINING, MATCH DAY TIMES AND KIT

Training and coaching sessions are normally held on Sunday mornings throughout the season (September - May) and begin at 10.30am ending at 12 noon. Some age groups also hold midweek sessions details of which are available from the relevant coach or team manager.

Matches and tournaments normally require an earlier start. We play against clubs from Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire and in some instances even further away. Check the fixtures and results section of our website for up to date details.

During training sessions or whilst attending matches, the players will be under the supervision of their respective team coaches. However, it is the responsibility of the parents/guardians to ensure that they are brought to training sessions or matches, and picked up after they are finished.  Coaches will not be responsible for supervising players after training or matches have completed, unless by prior agreement.

The club provides match jerseys, players are required however to provide shorts and socks. During warm up sessions or whilst on the touchline a track suit or similar weather proof wear is advisable.

In cold and wet weather, it is imperative, especially for the younger players, to have several layers of warm dry clothing.

Younsters teeth are extremely vulnerable and the wearing of gum shields is recommended for training but is mandatory for matches.

Boots need to have kite marked studs. Molded studs are acceptable. Players require a change of clothing after the matches, as well as a drink, preferably non fizzy. For training sessions we advise appropriate training kit relative to the weather conditions it may be advisable to wear jogging bottoms or similar where the ground is hard.

The club shop stocks a variety of match day and training kits in club colours along with a selection of protective clothing.
