CLUB ETHOS

Our youngsters are introduced to rugby in a safe, friendly and controlled manner. Our overall aim is to teach players the basic ball and playing skills, very much as a team; sharing the enjoyment of this increasingly popular sport.

For the smaller players, the over-riding objective is for the players to be able to play and develop safely, and to enjoy themselves; wanting to "come again next week".

As players move into the junior section, the playing skills and competition become more important and it is hoped the players will want to continue play into their adult life progressing onto senior level.

Our Mini/Midi organisation caters for boys and girls under 7's/8's, under 9's, under 10's, under 11's and under 12's. Our junior section caters for boys at under 13's, under 14's, under 15's and under 16's, with the senior youth for the under 17's and colts. We are also in the process ofdeveloping our junior section to cater for girls within the U13 - U17 age grades.

We all work within the spirit of the game
