CHILD PROTECTION

The club committee have an established child protection policy as required by the Rugby Football Union. All of our officers are familiar with these procedures.

As part of our commitment to ensure the safety of young people we will not permit photographs, video or other images of young people to be taken or used without the consent of parent/guardian or the young person. By signing your club registration form you are giving your consent.

We follow the RFU guidance for the use of images of young people and will take all steps to ensure these images are used solely for the purposes for which they are intended which is the promotion and celebration of the activities of Ilkeston Rugby Union Football Club. These images may be published on our website from time to time. 

If you become aware that these images are being used inappropriately you should inform our Child Welfare/Protection Officer.

If at any time the parent or the young person wishes the data to be removed from the website, the Child Welfare/Protection Officer should be informed.
